Finishing describes all treatments to the fiber starting from grey to „ready for garment“. The most popular finishing for wool is using little chemicals only. Wool treatments are dominated by the usage of water, steam, temperature, preasure and mechanical work.

The major part of finishing of wool is dyeing. The quality of colour depends on the fiber and the dyestuff selected. Any fastness level wanted is adjusted upon the specifics of the fibre and dyes.
